Identifying, analyzing and validating the needs for the Derivatives end-to-end lifecycle, including Trade Execution, Valuation, Settlements, Hedge Accounting, etc.
Challenge our internal processes with a view to finding opportunities for improving the derivatives processes making them more efficient and cost effective.
Documenting the business and technical requirements a variety of formats: Business Requirements Document (BRD), Data Mapping Spreadsheets, Use Cases, User Stories
Modeling and analyzing current state processes, identifying gaps, facilitate process changes to address those gaps for future processes.
Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of a range of derivative instruments across asset classes (equity, credit, rates and commodities)
Understanding of Investment Operations and data needs through the trading lifecycle.
Collaborating with business experts, sponsors, the project manager, tech leads and developers, and quality assurance team to ensure successful, quick delivery
Creative and dynamic approach to problem-solving
Ability to work on own initiative and adhere to strict deadlines
Highly numerate and analytical with an ability to learn quickly and to grasp the intricacies of complex OTC derivatives.
