Data/Business Analyst (Owings Mills, MD)

Alderson Loop is looking for a business/data analyst to work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies, gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers, demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities, and will be involved with manual testing and User Acceptance Testing. 

Qualifications 

• • 8+ years of experience
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into functional and technical specifications
  • Experience documenting technical and functional specifications for data management applications
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and concepts
  • Advanced SQL and Excel skills
  • Experience analyzing relational data using SQL and other tools
  • Experience analyzing data in JSON and XML format
