Front End Developer (Baltimore, MD)

Alderson Loop is looking for a Front End Web Developer that will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites using various technologies. The developer will complete tasks such as image edits and general updates, html and content edits, slicing designs from Photoshop to the web/mobile, and producing email newsletters. They will also be able to communicate and engage with a variety of teams on various projects.

Qualifications:

  • Expert with hand coding HTML, CSS, javascript and standards-compliance

  • Experience with Dreamweaver or other web development tools.

  • Creating custom themes and modules 

  • Experience with AJAX and jQuery (must be able to code javascript from scratch)

Preferred:

  • Experience with PHP and Wordpress development

  • Have a deep understanding of how responsive sites/pages are constructed
