Front-End Developer (Baltimore, MD)

Requirements:

  • Experience with hand coding XHTML, CSS and Javascript and standards-compliance.

  • Experience with Ajax and jQuery.

  • Deep Understanding of various cross-browser compatibility issues.

  • Experience with image editing and slicing using Photoshop.

  • Experience with HTML newsletters, QA (Quality Assurance), and basic understanding of search engines and optimizing content is a plus.

  • Experience with WAP/mobile web development is a plus.

Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of front-end development experience

    • Wordpress experience is a must

    • Ability to create standards-compliant, valid XHTML/CSS files

    • Familiarity with Photoshop or other image editing software

    • Ability to write clean, coherent code and to follow established coding style guidelines

    • CSS, CSS3, and HTML5 knowledge required

    • Flash, JQuery and Javacript knowledge a plus

    • Agency experience preferred
